Welcome to Network City

What is Network City?

  logo

Network City is the strategic framework for guiding Perth and Peel to a sustainable future. The guiding theme is managing growth by sharing responsibility between industry, community and government.

It's about planning better and smarter to meet the challenges of climate change, water, oil and resource depletion, at the same time catering for the demands of rapid population growth driven by a strong economy and increased affluence.

Network City resulted from an open, consultative process initiated by the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure, Alannah MacTiernan. Unlike previous metropolitan strategies Network City is a community plan, developed through the ground-breaking Dialogue with the city.
