02/07/2008: More than $3.5million infrastructure funding announced for regional WA

The State Government today announced more than $3.5million in grants for local governments and regional bodies for aviation, boating and cycling facilities.

01/05/2008Regional Airports Development Scheme (RADS) 2008-09
Submissions for 2008-09 RADS funding round closed on 12 October 2007. RADS provides funding assistance for the development or maintenance of regional airport infrastructure.

Following the award of regulated network licences to Skippers Aviation and Skywest Airlines in 2006, the Department, under the direction of the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure, is undertaking an Intrastate Air Services Review.
