Cycle to School Day 2006 -
Aquinas College (Junior)

Mr Andrew Cook, a Maths Teacher at the Aquinas College and our regular Cycle to School Day supporter, organised a highly successful and challenging Junior College Bike to School agility course.

“The previous record of 100 cyclists was shattered, with 150 students and staff taking part, Mr Cook observed.

“This year saw a remarkable turnout by the Junior School and it was a delight to see so many parents who had decided to ride to school.”

Champion trophies were awarded to the best in Junior, Middle and Senior School categories, as well as in the inaugural Bike to School ‘Champion House’ categories.

Mr Cook also organised a ride with a group of students to Perth Esplanade for the annual Bike to Work Breakfast, held on 10 March 2006.
