Swan River Trust - User group survey

Bikewest encourages cycling user groups to respond to the Swan River Trust's request for feedback about how they use the Swan and Canning River reserves and broader catchments.

The survey aims to identify:

  • How, when and why members are using the rivers and the related facilities now and into the future.
  • Any pressures and conflicts of use that have been identified.
  • How the rivers are meeting their expectations in terms of amenity.
  • Responses that could be effective in addressing any pressures on the rivers.

Please complete only ONE consolidated questionnaire for your MAIN usage area on behalf of the group.

The survey form (MS Word doc 100kb) can be returned by email, fax or post to Maria Price, Project Officer, Sustainable Development Facilitation, 92 Aclare Road, Barragup 6209 (tel: 08-9582 9228, mob: 0413 766 299, fax: 08-9582 9226, email: sustain@southwest.com.au)  by Friday, May 30 2008.

For the purpose of this survey, reference to the state of the rivers includes consideration of the foreshore and riverbanks areas and the broader catchments.

BIKE4WORK

A workplace bike fleet is an exciting concept, where an organisation supplies staff with bikes for some of their work-related travel.

Bike fleets can be set up in most workplaces where staff are required to travel on-site, between worksites or within the local area. Setting up a workplace bike fleet requires commitment from management, support from staff and a small budget.

For further information on how bikes4work can help you set up a bike fleet in your workplace.
