From 1 July 2009, the Department for Planning and Infrastructure became the Department of Planning and the Department of Transport. State Land Services and Pastoral Leases became part of the Department of Regional Development and Lands.

Cycle Instead Bikeweek - the State’s annual celebration of recreational and commuter cycling is set to celebrate its Silver Anniversary. 

Now into the 25th year, Bikeweek 2010 will be 8 days of community cycling activities that showcase the fun aspects of riding a bicycle for every family member, and how it can play a significant part in reducing waistlines, addressing climate change and helping with the household budget.

The following list of Bikeweek 2010 events is compiled from registrations that have been submitted and approved by the Department of Transport’s cycling unit.  We make every effort to provide up-to-date information.
