Lesmurdie Falls is a small cascade formed by Lesmurdie Brook which eventually flows into the Canning River at Beckenham.
It provides riders and walkers with a tranquil spot to stop for a picnic and there are public toilets available. A well sign-posted walking track leads from the main car park to a viewing platform.
The area surrounding Lesmurdie Falls is unspoilt bushland and has been designated as a national park.
A number of interconnected walk trails meander through the park and beyond. In particular, the Lewis Road Walk, the Whistlepipe Gully Walk and the Palm Terrace Walk provide participants with an excellent opportunity to view local flora and fauna. Riders can leave their bikes at the main car park and explore these trails on foot. Detailed maps of the various walk trails can be obtained from the Shire of Kalamunda office on Railway Road. |
