Ride 1 - Armadale to Wright Lake

Commence your ride or walk at the small landscaped park next to the City of Armadale offices in Orchard Avenue. A museum and duck pond are contained within this attractive park area. Note that the council offices are about 800 metres from the Armadale railway station for those connecting by train.

From the park, head west behind the Woolworths supermarket, past the loading dock area, and then take the shared path northwards through Minnawarra Park.

Carefully cross busy Armadale Road and once on the other side, head west along the shared path. Continue for about 150 metres and cross Railway Avenue. Immediately turn right and take the shared path heading north alongside Railway Avenue.

The path crosses numerous residential driveways, so keep an eye out for reversing vehicles. Take the shared path on the left, just opposite Sherwood Railway Station. This path travels alongside Champion Drive and passes close to the Armadale Aquatic Centre.

Turn right into the shared path running down the western side of Trangie Way. At the end of this cul-de-sac, use the access point and then turn right into the shared path on the far side of Westfield Road.

Continue past Kuhl Park and the Westfield shopping precinct, before turning left into a shared path running alongside Cammillo Road. You will pass a tunnel under the road leading to Westfield Park Primary School. Continue on the Cammillo Road path for another 500 metres to the end and turn right into the path along the eastern side of Lake Road.
