From 1 July 2009, the Department for Planning and Infrastructure became the Department of Planning and the Department of Transport. State Land Services and Pastoral Leases became part of the Department of Regional Development and Lands.

29/12/2009: No more rego stickers 1 January 2010

The Department of Transport is reminding motorists that from the 1 January 2010, registration stickers and discs will no longer be issued to light motor vehicle owners upon registration of their vehicle.
