Replacement plates

Current standard Brand W.A. series plate

It is possible to have your old number plate remade in the current Brand W.A. Series style. You can do this by visiting any licensing centre or participating agent and completing an application form.

The application form is also available online, to download the form. Once downloaded, the completed order form can then be posted along with a cheque to:

Department for Planning and Infrastructure
Licensing Services - Plates Section
GPO Box R1290
Perth WA 6844

You will need to hand in the plates currently attached to your vehicle when a replacement set is issued. A fee of SSI - Ordinary remake $15.80
applies for the remake of these plates.

Please note that a Brand W.A Series plate can only be remade with the Brand W.A Series plate background.

Lost or stolen plates

Where one or both of your licence plates have been lost or stolen, you must complete a statutory declaration detailing the circumstances surrounding the loss or theft. Any remaining plates should be presented to a licensing centre or participating country agent.

Lost or stolen State or district licence plates cannot be remade, and you will need to be issued with a new set for a cost of SSI - Ordinary plate $13.00
.

Lost or stolen custom, special series and personalised plates can be remade. Click here to view costs.

Please note: prices are current as of 1 July 2006.
