Changing your details
If you change your name or address you will need to let Licensing know as soon as possible.
Changing your name
To change your name details on our systems, you will need to supply us with documentary evidence of the change. You can submit this by mail or in person. Please see our change your name section for comprehensive details on the steps you need to take.
Changing your address
You can change your address online, by email, by post or in person. When you change your address you will need to supply us with all your vehicle, boat and firearm licence details to ensure all records are updated with your new address. For more information please see our changing your address section.
Fees
There is no fee payable to notify the Department for Planning and Infrastructure of a change of name or address. However, if you want to obtain a replacement driver's licence showing your new details the following fee(s) applies;

SSI - Duplicate driver licence (Seniors and Pensioners)
$12.90
(pensioners or seniors)
- no fee payable for aged pensioners
If you want to obtain replacement vehicle licence papers a fee of

is applicable.
