High Street, Fremantle upgrade
High Street is part of the major east-west transport route linking the Kewdale freight terminal with the Fremantle Inner Harbour and carries a high number of heavy vehicles daily. It is currently a four-lane undivided road with uncontrolled driveway access to a number of residential properties. Community engagement
Community engagement is critical in the successful development of acceptable policies and decisions in government, the private sector and the community. We have taken a leading role in exploring innovations in community engagement, with 21st century town meetings (dialogues), deliberative surveys, citizens' juries, multi criteria analysis conferences and consensus forums. PATREC
The Planning and Transport Research Centre is a unique collaborative effort between four universities. The Department for Planning and Infrastructure is a founding sponsor and participates through the Advisory Board. The Research Centre offers high quality post-graduate education and independent research programs in transport and logistics.
