Did you know that by the end of 2008 almost 450,000 Perth residents will have been offered the TravelSmart Household project?
A staged program is currently being implemented to expand Individualised Marketing across half of the Perth Metropolitan Region, involving 640,000 residents over 10 years, at an estimated cost of $25 million. (This cost is equivalent to the construction cost of seven kilometres of four-lane dual carriageway with shoulder.)
Part of the program (2005-06 to 2007-08) is co-funded by the Australian Government Greenhouse Gas Abatement Program. The Australian Greenhouse Office, in the Department of Environment and Water Resources, is a partner in this program. |
