The Walking School Bus Program aims to provide participating students with incentives that are practical and fun. However, the system will only work if accurate records are provided. The impact of Walking School Buses is determined by recording the number of trips made by participating students. This data is evaluated by the Department for Planning and Infrastructure and is essential to secure ongoing program funding.
